Imagine
working in a world where time seems to just past by and where almost everything
changes instantly. Think of having to keep up with an environment where it
costs a lot to stop or even slow down for a while. Sound taxing, right? What
more of prioritizing the welfare of everybody in the household on top of it
all.
But
every head of the family doesn’t mind about it. Fathers are said to be the
pillars of our homes. They toil sun up to sun down to give our needs and
desires.
Some
of them go abroad with tears in their eyes because they will be physically
separated from their families. However, there is a certain joy in their hearts
knowing that they will be able to provide for their loved ones back home.
To
honor these gallant paternal men and let them feel how extraordinary they are
and important their sacrifices are for their families, Father’s Day has been a
yearly universal event. As we mark again this special occasion on Sunday, June
18, 2017, our applause and recognition will never be enough to show them how
grateful we are to have them in our lives.
Our
dads, together with our moms, take good care of us the moment we’re born. They
are the ones who provide everything we need for our everyday lives. From
infancy up to adulthood, they feed and clothe us.
As
we take our initial baby steps, our patriarchs guide and lead us in the right
direction. When we stumble and fall, they assist us to rise and move on. In
times of danger or any threat, they shield us from any harm.
All
of these, they do out of unconditional love. Their selflessness, though, has
its own toll. Working tirelessly could lead to high levels of stress constantly
and problems not only mentally, but physically, too. So better watch out for
the signs.

Families who have fathers who contribute beyond the financial aspect are blessed. I've always wanted to have a husband who is hands-on as well with the kids aside from providing financial. I feel really blessed I have that now. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm also blessed with my husband who provides our needs, helps me chores and very hands on dad too. I pray that I can also raise my son just like him so he will be a blessing to his future wife too. Siguro sa stress noh, kaya nalalagas hair ng tatay? hehehe!
ReplyDeleteThings have evolved already. Before, when you are a father, when you put food in the table - you are the best one na. Today, fathers share the rearing role with moms. They become more hands on and more involved.
ReplyDeleteI am proud of our father of the small house for being so industrious. He would work outside and even work at home at the wee hours. He seems not thinking of rest just to provide for the family. They deserve our love and recognition.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, the third paragraphs of your blog resounds so strongly! I can relate, and I'm sure a lot of other OFW-wives and OFW-partners can as well. Belated happy father's day to your hubby!
ReplyDeletehahahaha nice one!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually interested to try Novuhair for myself 'cause I have hair fall problems going on. Is this good for women too?
We're using novuhair! It's also an effective maintenance para maging healthy ang scalp. But I rarely use it, my husband does. He needs to address the receding hairline as early as possible daw. But each set is quite expensive. Yun lang ang ayoko haha.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate your blog, very knowledgeable
