Events in Manila: Workshops to Build Your Confidence

Looking for ways to boost your career or get the job you want?

In the Philippines, a research from Jobstreet.com in 2015 named communication, trainability,
and competence as the top three functional skills being sought by employers. A survey by the
National Association of Colleges and Employers in the US almost has a similar result ranking
leadership, communication, and ability to work with a team as the most valuable skills in the
workplace.

You need to continuously invest in developing yourself to cope with the demands of your job.
Aside from reading articles or videos from the internet, an effective way to learn is by
attending workshops where you can interact with the trainer and meet fellow participants
face-to- face.

Go Up Events, an all-around event logistic provider, aims to support your career goals by
organizing various workshops in Manila this 2017. Their upcoming events this June and July
focuses on communication, leadership, and marketing. Attending can be a sure way to set
your learning objectives on track.

The Pain of Losing a Friend

By Raingarden

Before I start writing this, I thought of it for so many times whether to post this or I just let this blow my mind away and take all the heartaches and wait for the right time to heal. But, I think this can  help me also ease the pain inside my heart. Even though we gave it already to the Lord but we are just human who feel bitterness that sometimes lead us to sin.

This past few months, my old friend was struggling about a very sensitive and not pleasant issue about her married life. She denied everything even though there's so many evidences gathered from her family already. By the time we proved that it was true indeed as she could not hide the truth anymore, she responded by blocking us from her Facebook accounts including us, her close friends. So, I think this is the way that I can do right now.

The gift of healthy ‘crowning glory’ fit for the queen this Mother’s Day

CLICHE it may be, but there’s indeed a woman behind the person we are today. And that’s no less than her—our mother. We used to call her nanayinay‘naymama, mommy or simply mom. Needless to say, she deserves more than that given the pivotal role she fulfills in rearing us from childhood to adulthood and possibly for the rest of our lives.

There may be opposing beliefs whether that greater maternal instinct is biologically predetermined or socially imposed, but everyone would agree that a mother is hardwired to love and care about the whole family, especially the children, all the time. For better or worse, it’s always the welfare of everyone at home on top of her priority.
No wonder she’s an epitome of a doting human being that touches everybody’s life. So, it’s but right to honor and return all the favors she has done for us. And what a better way to do this than this Mother’s Day.

Still drooling over the ways on how to spend this time of the year again with her? Well, you may opt for the basics of gift-giving from simple trinkets to expensive items. But take note, your appreciation of her is not equated by the tag price of your present. It’s the thought that counts, as an adage says.

Last month April, most of our youth from our church we're not able to attend our yearly LGYC (Luzon Grace Youth Conference) in Isabela. We only had two delegates who attended the fellowship. The reason why most of our yp's didn't make it because most of them were graduating students in college. I think if I am not mistaken about 30% of our youth graduated this year and our church prepared a thanksgiving celebration for them.

While the other youth were enjoying in Isabela's LGYC, our young people here in our church were busy for our DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School) preparations. I will be posting soon about our 5 days VBS experience. After our victorious and successful VBS during Nate's 3rd birthday we celebrated our victory party in swimming pool in Montalban. (Thanks to the sponsors) and also happy birthday to Nate and thanks for sharing your birthday with us!

10 Things About Zd Boy ( Happy 3rd Birthday Zach Deuel)

Today is the 3rd birthday of our Zd bear. I thank God because He is so faithful to my son and for always being there for him since the day I gave him birth until today.

Way back the day I conceived him I feel so blessed because when he came into our lives of Lemuel he means a lot to us.

Being a mom every other year of our son is the another year of  blessings and achievement. I am so thankful and grateful for another year that God added to my son Zach Deuel. March 25, 2017 he turned 3 and I am so happy because he passed this three years with the good health and still active little guy.

Being always there by his side for three years has taught me so many lessons and made me a better person. Even his father is far from us, still as long as I can, I will do the rest of the responsibilities for his papa.

Most moms, neighbors, church mates, and friends always tell me that they really appreciate my energy and my patience for my son. If you know him personally, you will know what I am trying to say.

Let's know more about Zd, and let me share this 10 things about Zd
