Last month April, most of our youth from our church we're not able to attend our yearly LGYC (Luzon Grace Youth Conference) in Isabela. We only had two delegates who attended the fellowship. The reason why most of our yp's didn't make it because most of them were graduating students in college. I think if I am not mistaken about 30% of our youth graduated this year and our church prepared a thanksgiving celebration for them.

While the other youth were enjoying in Isabela's LGYC, our young people here in our church were busy for our DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School) preparations. I will be posting soon about our 5 days VBS experience. After our victorious and successful VBS during Nate's 3rd birthday we celebrated our victory party in swimming pool in Montalban. (Thanks to the sponsors) and also happy birthday to Nate and thanks for sharing your birthday with us!

After the VBS victory party, the youth gathered all the kalakal in our church some of them had their solicitation to our brethren abroad and professionals members in the church and we praise the Lord for their enthusiastic respond for the solicitation for our Yp's fund raising. Aside from the solicitations our youth eagerly find ways to meet their financial need for Youth Camp in IGBI Bataan (International Grace Bible Institute). They need 300.00 per person for registration that's good for 3 days and 500.00 for transportation back and forth.

So they even painted our house in order for them earn and while the others were painting, others were cleaning the church and gathering all the garbage that they could sell in the junk shop.

As I witness their labor  just to attend this Youth Camp 2017, I saw myself 8 years ago, that we did the same. You know what? These young people's their parents are not rich, most of our them are not involved in our church activities. But, these young people are willing to sacrifice their lives and time just to serve God in any situations.

I saw the team work here. Last night I visited them in our church because they had a practice for their special number this coming Youth camp. I am so blessed with their lives na sama-sama sila sa baba ng church nag babalat ng wires or tanso kasi ibebenta nila today. I salute all of them because di sila nag iiwanan sa eri. They don't want na yung isang young people na walang pera pero gustong sumama ay maiwan kaya nagtulong tulungan sila.

THE TRUE JOY IS FOUND IN MINISTRY
The bible says in Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
means all the material things on this world are temporal, Even you are the richest and famous people  of this world when you died you will not able to bring them all with you even one centavo. Do not weary yourself to gain wealth, Cease from your consideration of it.  In the blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle Proverbs 23:5

The true joy found in the ministry, the true JOY didn't rooted in our circumstances but it is rooted in God.  That even we are struggling in our financial aspects we are able to smile, encourage others, sing pray and praise the Lord. Because we know that we have a big God our creator who are able to do the impossible things for us and God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

I do believe that these industrious young people of Golden Shower Grace Gospel Church will enjoy their youth camp in IGBI Bataan because they labored eagerly just to attend this activity and they will  learn more about God's Word and strengthen their fellowship with other young people.
You only find pure joy when you have Christ in your life and experience joy in the ministry!

Our prayers always in your side guys and God bless!

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
~Philippians 4:19

  1. I like how you see things. Our circumstances has nothing to do with how we may be able to serve the Lord. It is the true joy of serving. That despite being poor, we could still serve. And your youth members are pretty insistent.
They know their goal thus make ways to serve and be part of the activity.

  2. When I was young, I was also active in our Youth Ministry and we also like attending Youth Camp. It is nice to know that they are doing everything to raise funds. Mas ok yan na makaattend ng galing sa sariling effort.

  3. I miss being active in the ministry! I was smiling reading this because it reminds me so much of the passion I had when I was involved in the Christian ministry. The zeal and joy of knowing you're working for Christ is truly out of this world! :D

  5. This is a meaningful activity for the youth. I once was a part of praying brigade in our community and learn not to waste my time and be responsible. With this, we have the chance to choose who can influence us in a good way.
