My Personal Prayers for this 2017

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Last night before the last night of 2016 was the end I close my eyes with prayers and thanksgiving from my hearts and I woke up this morning with a great joy in my heart because today is the another year of me. I'm so blissful having this life with so many blessings, love, joy, peace, understanding, God, salvation, family, friends, church and so forth. I don't remember all those blessings and good things that happened from the year 2016 even I'm not able to count them all and name them one by one. How grateful I am!


This 2017, I really want to pray this following important things as I start my journey this year. I want to leave all the things behind from 2016 and some of them will keep in my heart. These things are very important to me. I won't compare them to any expensive things in this world because this is my happiness. I just pick some of my personal prayers for this 2017 and the rest I just want to leave it to the Lord and secret lang namin yun :)

My Personal Prayers for this 2017

1. My Personal Commitment to God "The Ministry"
I'm not a pastora or missionary but I am a servant of God. I have a responsibility to Him. I am now committed to different departments from our local church and women organization including the children's ministry. My prayer for this ministry that God will continue to equip me and able me to do my job and responsibility.  I want to grow Spiritually through His word. I want to use my capabilities for His glory according to His will. I want myself and family to be always active in the church activities. I really prayed to Him that I hope I will always have time for my daily devotion, reading His word because I know it helps me to be a better person, a wife, and a mother to my son.

2. My Family Safety and Good Health "The Family"
My husband is always on his voyage praying for his safety, that God will always protect him and keep him safe and away in any harm on his duty. Praying for his health that God will sustain his physical strength, and God will sustain his wisdom mentally.  Not just only for my husband but also with our whole family in the province last week my father was positive in pneumonia I hope that God will heal his illness. Also to our son Zd I hope that he will grow up with a healthy body and stay active.

3. Doing Good to Others & Be a Good Example to them "The Attitude"

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, ~James 1:19

I admit myself that I have my negative attitudes, I won't deny for being a nagger, easy to anger,  very short on my temper. I prayed to God that He will control all those negative auras in myself. I prayed that may the fruit of the Spirit will live in me. I want to be a good example in my conduct and my Christian walk. I know I'm not a perfect person but I hope that I always think the right things always before commenting or giving my opinions to others. That's why I leave it to the Lord let Him control my whole being. Of course, I need to do my part too.

4. Spending More Time for Family/ Love ones/"Family Bonding"
If 2016 is a blast for family bonding when my husband is home this 2017 we're planning to spend time more like what we did last year. If last year we traveled different local places here in Manila and Boracay next year we're planning to visit our families in province both sides. Spending time our family is very important. It helps us to strengthens our relationship as a family. Kahit na malayo kami ni Lemuel but still hindi masyadong malungkot because we know if we are together talagang ma eenjoy namin ang moment namin with our son. Right now I'm praying for this year's plans and I hope that God will provide all our needs.

5. Save and Money Management
Finally, we thank God this year because it's our first year na "debts-free" na kami. Our goal this year is to save more and expense less. We have a plan to save because we want to start to build our home building in the province if God's will. We prayed for this as we start our plans for our family future that God will help us to save.

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.~ James 5:16b
