Day-to-day, you rise up and there are tons of things to do like go to the office, finish paperwork, and go back home. This might be what you call your lonely and humdrum life. Don’t just go with the flow. Change your direction. NOVUHAIR can show you the way, hence, it is dubbed as nature’s answer to hair loss. All its natural ingredients are scientifically proven to help promote hair growth. This way, you have no reason to go back to your old ways. The gift of healthy ‘crowning glory’ fit for the queen this Mother’s Day

CLICHE it may be, but there’s indeed a woman behind the person we are today. And that’s no less than her—our mother. We used to call her nanayinay‘naymama, mommy or simply mom. Needless to say, she deserves more than that given the pivotal role she fulfills in rearing us from childhood to adulthood and possibly for the rest of our lives.

There may be opposing beliefs whether that greater maternal instinct is biologically predetermined or socially imposed, but everyone would agree that a mother is hardwired to love and care about the whole family, especially the children, all the time. For better or worse, it’s always the welfare of everyone at home on top of her priority.
No wonder she’s an epitome of a doting human being that touches everybody’s life. So, it’s but right to honor and return all the favors she has done for us. And what a better way to do this than this Mother’s Day.

Still drooling over the ways on how to spend this time of the year again with her? Well, you may opt for the basics of gift-giving from simple trinkets to expensive items. But take note, your appreciation of her is not equated by the tag price of your present. It’s the thought that counts, as an adage says.

Healthy blood for a better Philippines: Sangobion launches new campaign

Last month I went to Fairview General Hospital for my ear check up because I had some problem with my ears but I was surprised when they checked my blood pressure. They said it's too low and they advised to take a Sangobion to help my blood goback to normal.

Week before I went to the hospital, I noticed I was experiencing dizziness, lack of focus, paleness, and always feeling tired.I always wanted to sleep even right after I take breakfast. These are the common signs of Anemia.

This week I found out the 5 common signs of Anemia and why iron is so important in our health during the event of Sangobion. The event happened in Romulo Cafe Quezon City.

Here are the 5 Common signs of Anemia:
Paleness
Fatigue
Dizziness
Lack of focus
Low immune system

Fatigue and other symptoms of anemia can also lower your quality of life and reduce your ability to concentrate and be productive at work.

Everyone gets tired, feels weak, and becomes restless once in a while. But, for people with anemia, these are more or less what they experience every day. When one suffers from anemia, he or she gets tired easily from working, feels dizzy for no reason, and is generally overcome by fatigue.

Sangobion IRON+ (Ferrous Gluconate+Vitamins & Minerals) has always been serious about fighting iron deficiency anemia.
To accomplish this, Sangobion is launching a new campaign, Sulong Dugong Pinoy, and kicked it off with a media launch held recently.

The event featured speakers like the University of Sto. Tomas Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology chairman, Dr. Corazon Zaida N. Gamilla, who discussed the importance of healthy blood in supporting the functions of the body, the prevalence of anemia, its symptoms, and ways to prevent and treat it. Also present was Dr. Christie Monina Nalupta – Director of the Philippine Red Cross - National Blood Services, who graced the event to support Sangobion’s vision of a healthy blood nation.

NOVUHAIR’S INFORMATIVE TRUTH ON HAIR CHEMICALS

We may not be aware that we are unknowingly putting harmful chemicals on our hair thus resulting to general conditions such as migraine, nausea and skin rashes. The symptoms may be quickly attributed to stress but if you look closer to that hair product you’re using, you’ll be surprise to find the culprit.

Popularity does not equate to safety, some popular brands sold in the market are loaded with mildly toxic chemicals that may be harmful in prolonged use.

2015 Best Ramen in Manila by a Japanese Reviewer

Gaku Nakamura is a self-styled Japanese Ramen Consultant living in Manila. Last year, he listed his top 10 ramen with Ramen Nagi topping the list. But with a number of new and authentic restaurants popping up, here is some of Gaku-san’s top ramen for 2015!

#5 Mendokoro Ramenba

MUST TRY: Shoyu Tonkatsu
Gaku says: “Mendokoro has tonkotsu-based ramen with chashu. The restaurant looks just like a Japanese-style kitchen and it reminds me of a good ramen restaurant in Japan, Afuri. The taste of the broth and chasu is very nice.”

MUST TRY: Cheese Tsukemen

Gaku says: “Tsukemen soup is yuzu flavor and the noodles are thick. I have never thought that cheese can fit wih Tsukemen, but you will be satisfied once you taste it at Mitsuyado!

MUST TRY: Miso Ramen

Gaku says: “The best Miso ramen in Manila! It is located along Shaw Blvd. Although not located in a major mall, lots of people go there just to eat Daisho's delicious ramen. Not only ramen, but their gyoza are also delicious.”

MUST TRY: Butao Ramen

Gaku says: “Nagi’s tonkotsu-based broth tastes like real Japanese tonkotsu. If you’re a first-time visitor, try Butao. When you've eaten half of it, try to add their Fire sauce to change the taste. You can also change the firmness of the ramen and the toppings based on your preference.”

AjiPanda™: "Your Best Friend in the Kitchen"

AjiPanda™ is a cute panda icon that conveys someone shy, caring, happy and loyal. It personifies how a humble pack or bottle of AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning fills the role of "Your Best Friend in the Kitchen" by offering an ever-reliable way of bringing out the natural goodness of food.
Ajinomoto's new campaign, which also features teen queen Kathryn Bernardo, presents the benefits of its dependable brand of seasoning to a new generation of cooks and food lovers.
AJI-NO-MOTO® comes from sugar cane, corn or cassava and is manufactured through the natural process of fermentation. This product is safe, convenient and effective in making food taste delicious.
This is because it is simply free glutamate, the most common among amino acids (the building blocks of protein). It provides the taste of umami to food in the same way that sugar adds sweet taste or salt adds salty taste to food.
But what is umami? Umami, is the fifth basic taste alongside sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. It is the savory, rich and full taste we often experience in meat, seafood, cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms.
Consider the delightful composition of chicken, green papaya and malunggay in tinola or the medley of cheese, ham, pepperoni, tomatoes, green and red bell peppers on top of a pizza. The combinations and layers of these glutamate-rich ingredients make dishes very delicious and enjoyable.
Remember that AjiPanda™, your best friend in the kitchen, will help work wonders in your cooking so that you can share many happy meals with your family.

Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) is an affiliate of Tokyo-based Ajinomoto Co., Inc. Established in 1958, APC lives by its promise to provide consumers products that will always give the delicious taste to healthy and nutritious meals as embodied in APC's slogan Ajinomoto® "Eat Well, Live Well.®" APC's complete line of quality food and seasoning products are produced by international affiliates and local toll manufacturers using Ajinomoto's license, quality standards and technological expertise.
