WHEN GOD PROVIDES

Last September, while on the 2nd week of our family vacation in Mindanao, the office of my hubby asking him to report and complete all the requirements that he needed for his work. The office told him that his departure would be on October 5, 201, but we agreed to refuse and continue our vacation.

October we came home and hubby reported to his office and his new schedule is November 10, 2017. But he chose a cape-sized ship. This kind of ship travels for about 45-50 days per voyage that's why he needed to move in January 2018.

"The Godly Woman as the Light of the World"

Yesterday we have our 6th Cluster 1 Women's Fellowship gathering in our church. Cluster one is composed of four churches in our denomination (Grace Gospel Christ of Christ) .  It is a regular fellowship for women every three months. This gathering is full of fun activities like games, contests,  and lectures. So this month, our church is the host of this fellowship. I'm so blessed and I learned a lot from the lectures. our theme was"The Godly Woman as Light of the Word" with it's sub-topics: (a. A Godly woman as light of the FAMILY, b. A Godly woman as light of the CHURCH C. A Godly woman as light of the COMMUNITY.

I love the lecture proper because its very interesting for me and its more practical being a woman or a wife to our family. Though I was a little bit distracted because of my ZD but I still have my hand-outs with me, so thank God!

Because I'm blessed and I know it's very helpful for us, specially for being a Godly woman of this world, I'm happy to share it with you. And I encourage you to get your bible to read the verses as you read this I know you will learn a lot from this. So here we go

Theme: "The Godly Woman as the Light of the World" (family, Church and Community) But I would like to share this post more on family. Please open your bible in the book of Psalm 127:1; Titus 2:3-5 and Romans 13:1-3. It is better to read this following verses for us to understand what the bible tells about this topic.

1. FAMILY (Satan and Home)

I have a song that I was teach in our children Sunday school, it says that "When Satan in the family is broken broken home! When Jesus in the family is happy happy home". Did you agree with that?

According to our speaker's introduction that the first Satan made was against the home. He invaded Eden and led the first husband and wife into disobedience and judgement. (did you know the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden? In Gen. Chapter 3, the beginning of disobedience and sin  of this world ever).

Satan is still attacking the home. We know that there's a lot of broken families right now, and i know you can enumerate the following issues as to why it happened. This does not mean that all wrecked homes are the fault of Satan, for often the flesh has a lot to do with the problems. If either or both partners are too immature for the demands of marriage Satan can find openings for (subtle and not so subtle) attacks. If the married couple does not obey the Bible and leave father and mother, but instead permit the parents to interfere, then Satan has an easy time attacking that marriage.

Some Specific Areas of Attack Mentioned in the Bible:

1. Satan teaches doctrine that forbid marriage- 1 Timothy 4:1-3
Matthew 19:12- not everyone is supposed to get married,
1 Corinthians 7:34- unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord.

2. Satan  seeks to reverse the headship in the home.
- Headship is not dictatorship, headship is leadership in love. 1 Timothy 2:11-13; Ephesians 5:22,23

3. Satan wants to lead husbands and wives into moral impurity.
1 Corinthians 7:1-5- Sex in marriage in not sinful, it's a gift from God.

4. Satan gets the wife too busy outside the home- 1 Tim. 5:14-15
The yielded Christian wife should find job and fulfillment in her home.

Some Guideline Homemaking (for Godly Woman)
1. Build your home- You don't have to be married  to have a home. Indeed, wherever you live is your home. Proverbs 14:1; Psalm 127:1

2. Watch over hour home - Proverbs 31:27

3. Manage your home- It is better to be busy at home that to be a busybody. 1 Timothy 5:14; 2 Thessalonians 3:11

4. Love your home- Women are to be "keepers at home" Love is the world's most powerful motivators. No task will be too difficult and no job ill be too menial (or meaningless) but love will enable us and empower us to tackle it, master it and excel at it. Proverbs 31:29

Ten Discipline for Home Management
1. You shall be dedicated to managing your home. Titus 2:5
2. You shall be a woman of prayer. Matthew 6:21
Parents can influence their children's destiny through prayer.
3. You shall be aware of the basics. Proverbs 31:10-12
4. You shall follow a schedule. Proverbs 31:15
5. You shall be organized. "looketh well" means a place for everything and everything in its place. Proverbs 31:27
6. You shall be there. Deuteronomy 6:7
7. You shall be the best. Proverbs 31: 29 "Cleanliness, Orderliness, 3 meals a day"
8. You shall be reading Imagines, newspapers, books, most of all the Bible.
9. You shall be frugal. "Handle  money wisely"
10. You shall be creative.

Household Security- Proverbs 29: 25
1. Take charge of the media- We all know the influence of media nowadays. Guide your child.
2. Check out their friends- We did our part to raise them in our home we educate them how to be a better person in their conduct and behavior, but outside with their friends they will learn also a lot of things.
3. Build shield- Teach biblical and encouraging their faith.

"Mothers, you may work at a job, but your real work, your real life, your priorities lie at home. Home is where your heart must be".

Thank you Mrs. Marietta Bermejo for sharing this wonderful reminders.

Our Voyage Part 2 - CEBU :)

Cebu City is my hometown, it's where I was born too at lumipat kami noong 5 yrs old palang ako. After  a decade, bumalik kami doon with my ex boyfriend na  husband kuna ngaun, kasama din ang mga close friends namin sa church.

On April 2011, our church, the Grace Gospel Church of Christ, Things to Come Mission Philippines  celebrated its National Annual Workers Conference, at ang venue ay sa Cebu City. So were very excited to attend this big event because we will visit Cebu city together. And we were very happy kasi nakahanap kami ng murang ticket (nakalimutan kuna kung magkano yun hehe! So here we go, I would like to share with you our 2nd part of our adventure in Cebu!
Terminal-3 NAIA with my Friends Daniel, Grace, Lemuel (My husband), and Nilyn
In short walang kill joy sa amin :)

Its was hard for us to buy a ticket because some of us were either jobless or studying but thank God because He provides :). Kung may gusto maraming paraan, kung ayaw maraming dahilan! Agree?
Yay! Welcome to Cebu City!!!

As far as I can remember, our budget was at 7k each. That amount went to the fare back and forth, (plane papunta, pero nagbarko na kami pag-uwi namin), Registration 1500, plus allowance. But because we were very thrifty, before we went there we were planning na wag nalang kami mag register at maghanap nalang kami ng church para matulugan namin doon. At mag-ambag ambag nalang kami for our food. We were able to save half of the registration fee! Naging 700 each lang ang ambagan namin for food for 3 days and 3 nights pero hindi naman kami nagluluto lagi kasi every morning lang kami nagluluto for our breakfast then lunch at dinner sa labas lang kami kumakain.

Our First Night & Dinner
When were arrived at Lapu-lapu City we're very hungry because it's already 6pm or 6:30pm, and you know na, pag sa byahe nakakagutom talaga lalo na pag malayo ang pinanggagalingan. And para kaming nakawala sa kabihasnan, hehe. that's why naghanap kaagad kami ng pwede naming makainan, we walked in the streets to find something to eat and amazingly we found a very good deal! The street lechon manok only 100 pesos, the "Puso" (a cooked rice covered by leaves of coconut) for only 3 pesos each, then the yummy barbecue! You won't believe it, at Php 50, busog na busog kana, at may sabaw pa!

After our dinner we still had time to visit the Lapu-lapu park. It's a beautiful park, there you will see the famous Lapu-Lapu monument and some history about that place. We have some fun at mga trip that na nakakaloka, hehe!

Lapu-Lapu Park Photos:
Hahaha! Sorry ganito lang talaga kami :P
My Love :)
Can't stop laughing kasi nanghila ng mga bata sa Park just to take a pause & have a picture with them lol!
Lapu-Lapu Museum
After our visit in Lapu-lapu Park, bumalik kami sa church para makapag set-up ng tent. All the girls slept on the tent while the boys were on the other side but without tent. Were so blessed because the host pastor of the church was very accommodating at welcome na welcome kami don at feel at home kami. Every morning we'd wake up early for our devotion, then prepare for our breakfast then we'd commute going to our conference venue, medyo malayo sa church naglalakad pa kami to highway then sakay ng tricycle. Every morning and evening lang kami umaatend ng worship services and lectures in the morning then afternoon gala kami anywhere na malapit lang sa venue namin.

This is the Church & were ready to go, our first day!
The Venue of our Workers Conference
Mang Inasal, SM Cebu, (Lunch time)
After the lectures and business meeting, we went to SM City Cebu for our lunch and we found out na napakamura lang ng Mang Inasal dun! It's only 79 pesos with unlimited rice.

For us to get there we needed to take a boat para  mas mabilis at masaya ang aming paglalakbay.

From Lapu-lapu to Mactan
The Magellan shrine

The Magellan shrine is a large memorial tower erected in 1866 in honor of the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan. The spot is believed to be the area where Magellan was killed in the Battle of Mactan on 1521, Philippines. The monument measures 30 metres high and it is located in the place of Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, Cebu. (Source: Wikipedia)

Magellan's Cross

After the Mactan, we bought some fruits and foods for our baon and nakadaan kami sa maliit na Park, tumambay muna kami at don kumain, nagbonding at nagpicture picture.

We all love fruits, so there...

Happy Couples :)

SM MALL & LAPU-LAPU MALL

Things that I love during this adventure:
 1. Time - Back then, we had all the time in the world! We can't bring the time from the past, it was a lot different back when we're single and now we have already a family and son.

2. Bonding- Bonding is anywhere, but to have a bonding like this is different it's very special for us. Because we able to met our old friends, old relatives from different place, and meeting new friends.

3. Lessons - We learned a lot of lesson there, specially the Word of God, the lectures, it also help us to strengthen our relationship with God.

4. Amusement - To be able to see and experience something new is the awesomest of all! (I'm saying awesomest because awesome isn't enough to describe it, lol!).
