GOLDEN SHOWER GRACE GOSPEL CHURCH OF CHRIST FAMILY DAY 2018

Every year, one of our highlighted church activities every summer or before summer (depending on our schedules and availability) is our "church family day". This is the time when we go out and bond as a church. Since this year we had a graduating student in International Grace Bible School Bataan (IGBI), we decided to have our family day there.

Though some families were not able to join because of their work, we're still fortunate because we were able to explore and celebrate our family day.

So, what did we do during our church family day 2018?

60TH TCM Founding Anniversary & Thanksgiving Celebration 2018

10 years ago was my first experience to attend our Grace Annual Conference held in Lupagan and Maningcol, Ozamis City in Mindanao.

That was the 50th Anniversary of TCM Grace National Grace Conference here in the Philippines so it's been ten years na.  I had great memories during that time, I learned a lot from the word of God spoken by our different missionaries and pastors. It was also my first NGYO or National Grace Youth Conference where I met my fellow believers in Christ and enjoyed the fellowship with them.

KIDS MINISTRY: SUMMER DVBS 2017 (R.U.N)

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." ~Matthew 19:14

Every year our church, Golden Shower Grace Gospel Church of Church has a program for the children. We call it DVBS or Daily Vacation Bible School. It's a five day activity for kids from 5-14 years old.

Every summer our dedicated young people and kids department team in our church prepares a great program for our vacation bible school. The main goal of this activity is to learn and know about Jesus Christ our Savior specially for  those children who did not receive the gospel of salvation yet.

Our VBS 2017 themed was "R.U.N" which means Reaching Unsaved Nations. Every day the kids learned from their lesson from the Bible the "Word of God" through the life of Apostle Paul. The children learned how God worked and changed Saul.

These daily vacation bible school activities are learning God's word through bible stories, learning new songs with actions and dance, learning arts and crafts, exploring their abilities through games and physical activities, gaining new friends.

The kids were divided into three groups according on each age bracket. We had the nursery from ages three to 6 years old, primary ages 7 years old to ten  and the juniors eleven years old to 15 years old.
And I was so happy because I was able  to teach and facilitate the Juniors dept.

The decorations were made possible because of the creativity of our talented young people in our church. They really exerted efforts on it and stayed overnight in our church. They used paintings, cartoons and some recycled materials.

Last month April, most of our youth from our church we're not able to attend our yearly LGYC (Luzon Grace Youth Conference) in Isabela. We only had two delegates who attended the fellowship. The reason why most of our yp's didn't make it because most of them were graduating students in college. I think if I am not mistaken about 30% of our youth graduated this year and our church prepared a thanksgiving celebration for them.

While the other youth were enjoying in Isabela's LGYC, our young people here in our church were busy for our DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School) preparations. I will be posting soon about our 5 days VBS experience. After our victorious and successful VBS during Nate's 3rd birthday we celebrated our victory party in swimming pool in Montalban. (Thanks to the sponsors) and also happy birthday to Nate and thanks for sharing your birthday with us!

Kids Camp 2016: "BATANG B.I.D.A"

Our IGBI or International Grace Bible School Things to Come Mission Philippines in Bagac, Bataan had its yearly kids camp program for our church children's department. This kids camp encourage every child to participate and train them Spiritually. Exciting activities awaits for them, all activities they will experience there will surely amazed them and help to develop their self-esteem and help them to lead their journey as they grow up spiritually.

CLAG-GWW Fellowship: "Revive Your Heart & Your Ministry"

After the busiest days finally I'm back to write my blog about my happy experience during our Grace Women Warriors Fellowship last November 1.

Being a church worker is a blessing a responsibility that really need time to spend on it, you need to sacrifice your time, your money, sometimes your work for you to available on meetings, planning and in fellowship. Last month we're so blessed and thankful to God for our successful fellowship and of course to God be the Glory!
