CLAG-GWW Fellowship: "Revive Your Heart & Your Ministry"

After the busiest days finally I'm back to write my blog about my happy experience during our Grace Women Warriors Fellowship last November 1.

Being a church worker is a blessing a responsibility that really need time to spend on it, you need to sacrifice your time, your money, sometimes your work for you to available on meetings, planning and in fellowship. Last month we're so blessed and thankful to God for our successful fellowship and of course to God be the Glory!

CLAG Grace Women Warriors (GWW) Delegates

We started with opening and welcome remarks, followed by acquaintance games, lecture-1, worship service and lecture 2.

Acquaintance games & memory verse singing with action contest

We have a total of 84 delegates and we're having fun during our  fellowship activities. From the group activities and our lectures. Our fellowship held in Valenzuela covered court. Our theme was "Revive Your Heart and Your Ministry". Text: Psalms 51:10-13, and our speaker is no other one ma'am Vholet Nabus.

Because I'm busy that time preparing some stuff, and other activity I'm not able to listen fully to the lectures but I just want to share with you what I have learned from this fellowship.

We come up with this theme "Revive Your Heart and Your Ministry" because we want to encourage every women to revive their hearts specially in the ministry. Being a mom, a wife, a working mom, or stay at home mom it's very difficult specially when it comes raising our kids. Every women have different experience, struggles that sometimes became reasons to hinder our ministry. The bible say's that "family is our first ministry". I agree! but the question is what if your family is the reason why you are seldom in church ministry?

"REVIVE YOUR HEART"
In church ministry the most important that we should taking care off is our heart. If our heart is full of bitterness, envy, heartaches well, I'm sure we are not happy serving our Lord. Mrs. Nabus said that we should revive our heart first. The Bibles says that "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice". Ephesians 4:31. We should clean our hearts first let's forgive people or our church mate. If our heart is pure I'm sure we will experience the spiritual joy in doing ministry for the Lord.

"REVIVE YOUR MINISTRY"
If right now you don't have any involvement in the church ministry you should know your capability. Example if you are good in church decoration, in song leading, if you're good in musical instruments, or teaching kids in Sunday school or any activity that you think you are available and capable to do it then evaluate your self. Then, make your self available for the ministry that you committed, and for your family not to sacrifice with your schedule make your family as a partner on your ministry so you and your whole family doing the ministry to the Lord.

Ministry is intentional with a heart. In Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men". Only God can see us and understand us. He sees what's in our hearts.

Indeed, I'm so blessed with this fellowship and I learned a lot of things. I hope that God will abundantly blessed this organization and hope that every women encourage by the Word of God and revive their hearts and ministry.

  4. I recently worked on a four-part series on why there is hope for drug pushers and users. It's entitled "A different kind of surrender" published in Cebu Daily News. I learned from the two weeks that I was on field interviewing former addicts, recovery coaches and initiators of the Surrender to GOD program that it really helps to have a ministry to be part of especially when one is fighting a disease as strong as drug addiction. Thanks for sharing this dear.

  10. I agree, we need to heal first, let go of our bitterness and forgive and seek forgiveness before we serve in the ministry, or it will be such a burden on our shoulders.
